Thanks to one artist’s fairly brilliant idea, informational outlet C-SPAN can finally fulfill its destiny as an interactive music video channel. Perhaps.
Media artist Barbara Lattanzi created a free software program that mashes up archived video from C-SPAN and karaoke songs found on the Internet, CNET reports.
On her web site, Lattanzi writes: “While you are navigating the flows of institutional political process, faithfully and invaluably documented by CSPAN, you can always break out in song…and the louder the better.”
