The Ghost of Dan Rather

Any day that one gets to blog about John Steinbeck is a good day.

Cruise over to B&C Beat for a look at Dan Rather’s distinctly Tom Joadian final sign-off. Rather definitely did not go out like a punk last night. But he did seem to hint that he planned to spend his retirement riding in boxcars, avoiding railroad dicks and penning folk tunes involving the Hoover administration. And if he does, more power to him.
